Walking Contradiction..

Well, the Rat Race was on Tuesday evening, and we were there a little bit too early, because I was worried there was no place to park. Ended up parking in one of dodgy open carpark (on a side note, when i went back, there was pieces of broken glass next to mine, i.e. the car next to mine had his car broken into. More reason to leave early)



The Rat Race experience is truly a unique one and I thought I would do much better but I guess I underestimated the running in my work pants and also the afternoon he

at. Supporters were really great to come out and support us, I felt awful that I was probably last from the company to run by but they cheered enthusiatically.



Our company sent 2 teams of mixed male and female and the first team did extremely well and managed to win 2nd overall. What an achievenment! The atmosphere at the place was trully great, with the costumes, cheerleaders, CEOs, one of the best moments to remember.



Unfortunately I also sprung up with an allergy the night before which caused my lip to be swollen a bit. So i came in last in my company, to be expected I guess. Lesson learnt, next year, let someone younger run, it's not funny playing a badminton competition on Sat, then running Rat Race on Tuesday. Getting old and weary. I actually make that lil noise 'ughhh' when i get up from a chair these days...
