Thanks to the yellow-inspired jerseys (similar to those of the Malaysian Olympic Team), the team did extremely well in the latest badminton competition. We were perhaps thinking of Lee Chong Wei's win in the semi finals the night before.
This year was a good one for me, as I didn't manage to lose a match, though I did come extremely close to losing one of my singles. It was a tough match, where I won 21-19, and I nearly coughed my lungs out. Super tired. Tell-tell signs that I'm getting old, and it's time to hang up the jersey maybe in a year. I played every type of category, women's singles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles in the finals.
New Vision was an accomodating host, so anyone looking for a venue to host their games, I would strongly recommend it as they have excellent courts.
